Entering employment as a trusted Security Officer is a career investment which requires mandated licensing and training. Applicants are required to be licensed Security Officers. Applicants needing to become licensed will be required to cover the costs for fingerprinting and licensing. These cost should be looked at as investing in ones self. and career. There is also mandated training required to maintain employment with Public Security LLC.
Starting June 1st 2024 all Maryland Security Officer will be required to have the mandated 12 hour certification. Security Officers that are already active will be required to show proof of 8 hour certification training prior to their license expiring or they will not be relicensed once expired.

Applicants must be fingerprinted and have their application for Maryland State Police done and ready to reviewed by Public Security management. Once your application has been reviewed by our staff, applicants are required to mail in their completed fingerprints and application to the Maryland State Police and retain proof of correspondence.

UNDERSTANDING EMPLOYMENT WITH PUBLIC SECURITY LLC
We do not pay employees off the books.
You must be a licensed Security Officer or Private Detective to begin working for Public Security LLC.
50% of all work can possibly be midnight to 8am shift. Do not apply if unable to work those hours and other challenging hours.
Public Security LLC does not provide transportation to work sites.
You will be required to wear a suit and tie or a uniform depending on work assignment.
Working for Public Security LLC has been deemed as high risk. We serve serve clients that have significant security challenges.
You do not get to choose work assignments. Security details are staffed by Public Security LLC management based on needs.
Posts require walking and standing for significant periods of time.

Duties: Physical security, outer perimeter executive security protection, marked vehicle patrols, bike patrols, foot patrols, entry control. Frontline Officers work assignments as designated by command based on the needs of Public Security LLC. Frontline Officers work high risk assignments throughout the state. Although Frontline Officers are private security, many posts are very similar to working as a Correctional Officer, Park Ranger, Code Enforcement, bodyguard, police and a member of the military,.

JUNIOR PRIVATE DETECTIVE (OPEN)(WANTED)

(Under 18 years of age)
Public Security LLC appoints Private Detectives who are under the age of 18. This program is for youths who are interested in a career in law enforcement, the military, fire and ambulance services, private security industry and investigative services.
Duties: Always say no to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, bullying and any illegal actions. Call 911 during any situation you deem necessary or when someone needs help. Be an advocate for the sick, weak and elderly. Serve your country in a way that best suits your abilities. Maintain contact with Public Security LLC at least once a year to report your progress.

We also are accepting applications for VOLUNTEERS to assist us with administrative duties, searches for evidence and emergency missing persons response. Volunteers are subject to the same requirements as employees. The requirements are listed below.

In order to qualify to become an employee or Volunteer at Public Security LLC, you must be:
Willing to undergo an intensive background investigation.
Willing to have your former employers and schools contacted
Willing to submit to random drug testing.
Willing to sign non-discloser agreements.
Willing to be truthful at all times
Willing to obtain the Security Guard Certifications.
Over the age of 18.
Over the age of 21 for any armed positions.
Clear of any criminal record. You may still apply with a minor
conviction and your application will be reviewed.
Clear of any current charges in criminal court.
Be able to meet minimum Military type physical standards.
You must also:
Be able to follow orders and directions
Have reliable transportation.
Have a working cell phone with unlimited minutes.
Have the ability to always be on time.
Have the ability to make competent decisions.
You will later need to have a valid passport / you may apply for it
once employed.

You must return text messages and phone calls from Public Security
